Country Cuisine Welcome

Hands-On: Country Cuisine utilizes basic techniques and a format in which everyone participates in the cooking lesson.

Recipes: Ellen provides recipes for the dishes prepared during class, so you can replicate them at home.

Class Format: Class duration is three hours. Following a brief lecture and demonstration, participants will jump right in and prepare the featured items. The session ends with a discussion while we enjoy the food we have prepared.

Girl's Night Out: Our cooking class format is ideal for a girl's night out. Grab your friends and schedule a fun and unique night out as you learn new techinques, prepare dishes together, and discover unique entertaining ideas.

Children learn to bake a cake or cupcakes from scratch, make frosting, decorate, and have a party. Party supplies included.

With our new relationship with Gervasi Vineyard, increased opportunity to experience the world through travel, and my commitment to introducing others to the health benefits David and I have experienced first hand through Advocare, I've decided to change up how I schedule cooking classes in the Country Cuisine Kitchen.

Instead of offering students a set course of classes with defined menus, I'm giving you the opportunity to decide the date, the time, the menu, and invite the participants.

Connect with your Children In the Kitchen (And Make Memories to Last a Lifetime)

Some of my fondest childhood memories of helping my mother in the kitchen. It could have been creating a standard mid-week meal or assisting with the details for a special dinner for friends and family -- it didn't really matter what it was. The opportunity to simply be with my mom as she casually consulted the recipe book, mixed the ingredients, and removed a "masterpiece" from the oven was magical.

Today, our schedules have us running in a thousand different ways. Why not set aside a few hours with your child to talk, share, cook and create. Best of all, while junior chefs and parents are making a special meal they will also be creating shared memories to last a lifetime.

The first was a Junior Chef/Parent course

in December and featured holiday delights.
